Setting up a VMP connection for Auction Pre-sales offerings
How do you set up a VMP connection for Auction pre-sales from Floriday? Follow the steps below to achieve this:
First, go to Settings via the three dots in the top right. On the System tab, select VMP Accounts on the left:
Then click the Add VMP account button on the right:
Please note!
There are fees associated with a VMP connection on Floriday. Check the rates page for the current status of the fees. You pay for a VMP connection (for Auction presales) per administration number, regardless of the total number of VMP connections.
A pop-up appears where you can choose Clock presale sand/or Direct sales and enter a Reference Name:
Select the Clock presales option and then click Create Account.
If you have or are going to create multiple VMP connections, it is advisable to enter clear descriptions as a reference.
If you have not yet set up an email address for (V-)EKT messages, you will receive a notification. You can set this up via the menu on the left.
The Username, Password, and VMP URL will be displayed immediately. Note down this information right away; the password is displayed only once.
The details can be easily copied using the button with the two rectangles:
Should the password be forgotten in the future, a new password can be requested.
Click on Configure account at the bottom.
Next, you will see an overview of your new VMP account. Here, you will configure all the settings for the VMP connection on this account. Transfer these settings to your own software package, or ask your system administrator or software supplier to do so. At the end of the Username and VMP URL fields, you will see a symbol of two squares to make it easy to copy the data.
In the Filters, you can specify which product groups you want to receive offers for and to which auction location (RFH hub) you want to receive delivery.
Furthermore, you can select quality groups here and include or exclude suppliers and/or product groups from the retrieved supply.
After that, you can indicate whether you only want to receive supply from the next auction date or everything that is available. And you can indicate that you only want to see supply that is available to order at that moment.
Under Settings, enter the seat numbers and plate numbers of the RFH Hubs.
Have you set everything up? Then click Save to configure the VMP account.
The connection will now be displayed in the list of VMP connections. By clicking on the line, you can open the connection again and edit it if necessary.
Via the three dots at the end of the line, you can Edit the link, Request a new password, or Delete the link entirely:
Choose Duplicate if you simply want to set up a similar VMP connection with a different name or minor adjustments. This will require less work to set everything up again.
