Track & trace

Gain more control over logistics through Track and Trace information

Written by Paula Luiten - van der Schilt

The two most frequently asked questions from buyers are: 'Do you still have some?' and 'Where is it?'. Floriday provides insight into where the delivery is in the process. Orders are now scanned at multiple points in the logistics process, giving growers and buyers better visibility into where their goods are located and what step follows next. The more and better the delivery is scanned, the more complete the information.

The Logistics section displays all deliveries, including the Track & Trace information from the relevant carrier. A grower using their own transport or a dedicated self-carrier can also provide you with this insight. This makes current status information of orders more clearly available in one central location.

Track & trace informatie

To view Track & Trace information, go to Logistics > Fulfillment orders. At the end of the delivery line, you will see the status of the transport (provided the transport information / scan information is available).

Before the dots, you will see what type of transaction it concerns: a clock/Daytrade or direct delivery using RFH logistics (LOG) or Off-site logistics (BLO).

By clicking on a delivery line, you will be taken to the completed delivery itself. There, on the left-hand side, you will see the 'transport path' and the moments when a transport scan was created.

Status of a delivery

In the overview of fulfillment orders you can see the status of the transport by looking at the filled dots. The first status is that the delivery has been processed by the grower. At that moment, you as a buyer also know that the delivery is being prepared for transport.

The various possible statuses for a delivery are (depending on the type of delivery and whether or not RFH logistics are used):

  • Fulfillment order submitted

  • Departed from supplier

  • Received at dock

  • Order picked

  • Delivered

  • Fully received

Signing in deliveries

During transport, a carrier can transmit the Track & Trace information by scanning the deliveries. As a buyer, you can ultimately report the delivery as received. This can easily be done via the Floriday screens using your mobile phone.

You can do this via the Status screen using the Sign in button.

You can also do this by logging into Floriday via your phone and going to the Logistics menu. You will then receive an overview of the deliveries.

At the bottom, you will see a button to scan a letter. You can then register this delivery as received.

You can also open the delivery and sign in the entire delivery as a whole via the button on the bottom:

Hubscans

Hub scans for trade purchased via the Clock, Clock Pre-sales, and Daytrade (where order picking applies) are now also displayed in Floriday.

By clicking on the relevant delivery, you will see the scan times on the left:

Please note!
Scanning is only possible for the product groups to which order picking applies. In Aalsmeer, this is not yet possible for all product groups.
