You can work in Floriday with all colleagues in your company. There are no costs associated with the number of users in your Floriday environment.
In this article, we explain how to invite new colleagues to Floriday and how to assign specific permissions to those colleagues.
The following steps are discussed on this page:
Inviting colleagues
Go to the three dots at the top right of the screen > Settings.
Now click on the tab Organization > Colleagues. Here you can see the current overview of colleagues who are active in your Floriday account. Bear in mind that only the Administrator of an account can invite other colleagues. You can recognise the Administrator by the label in green.
If no primary account is available, please contact the Floriday support team. They can ensure that one of the colleagues present becomes the primary account.
Only someone with an Administrator account can invite colleagues to the organization. The Administrator has a green Invite Colleague button on the right-hand side. Click this button to invite a new colleague and then enter your colleague's email address and name.
Indicate whether a colleague receives full permissions to work in Floriday; Apply all permissions. Optionally, indicate whether the colleague is allowed to have certain rights by clicking on Manage Permissions.
Do you want extra security when logging in? Then check Require 2-factor authentication. In addition to their username and password, the user will then have to perform an extra verification using, for example, the Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator app.
Once you have filled in all the fields, click Send Invitate.
An email will then be sent to the email address you provided. It contains a link that the new colleague can use to activate the account on Floriday.
2-Factor Authentication
As described above, you can set up 2-Factor Authentication for users within Floriday. This provides an extra layer of security when logging in.
After logging in with the username and password, an additional code is requested. This is generated by Authenticator apps from Google and Microsoft, among others. You can download these for free on Android and iPhones.
As the main user, you can make this mandatory when inviting colleagues, but also afterwards via Settings > Organization > Colleagues. Then click on the 3 dots at the end of the user's line, followed by Require 2-Factor Authentication. As soon as this user logs in again after this, they will be asked to set up 2FA. Read this helpcenter article for more explanation about 2FA.
Granting permissions
Once you have invited colleagues, you can hand out rights as the primary account. This means that you can decide for yourself which colleague is allowed to work in which Floriday component.
You do this on the screen Colleagues . Click on the three dots to the right of the colleague and then on Permissions.
On the next page you can check or uncheck where the colleague is allowed to work in Floriday. To do so, simply click on one of the components and check or uncheck the box. You do not have to save the changes, these are saved automatically.
Invitation to other organizations
When you work with multiple organization numbers, you can easily switch between them in Floriday. In the Colleagues screen, you can also invite your colleagues to these organizations so that they can do the same.
As an Administrator, you do this by selecting Invite to organizations to the right of a colleague.
Below you will see an overview of the companies linked to your username. Check the companies you also want to invite the colleague to, and then click Invite colleague.
