In Floriday, you can purchase directly via a VMP connection, just like in FloraXchange. Due to outdated technologies, FloraXchange will be phased out in the near future. Therefore, you can now easily migrate the VMP connection from FloraXchange to Floriday yourself.

We recommend implementing an API connection in the future. An API connection offers more options and gives you control over the information you retrieve. Moreover, an API connection is faster and future-proof.

How do you migrate a VMP connection from FloraXchange to Floriday? Follow the steps below to convert:

First, go to Settings via the three dots in the top right corner. select VMP accounts on the System tab.

Please note!
There are fees associated with integrations. This is also the case with FloraXchange. View the rates on this page.

Then click the Add VMP account button on the right side:

A pop-up will appear where you can choose between Clock presales and/or Direct sales and enter a Reference name:

Select the Direct sales option and then click Create account.

If you have or are about to create multiple VMP connections, it's wise to provide clear descriptions for reference.

After creating the account, the Username, Password, and VMP URL will then be displayed immediately. Make a note of this information immediately, as the password will only be displayed once.

The information can be easily copied using the button with the two rectangles:

If you forget your password in the future, you can request a new password.

Click Configure account at the bottom.

You'll then see an overview of your new VMP account. Here you'll configure all the settings for the VMP connection on this account. Copy these settings into your own software package, or ask your system administrator or software provider to do so. At the end of the Username and VMP URL fields, you'll see a symbol of two squares to easily copy the information.

Using the Filters, you can specify the delivery location. This clarifies the delivery terms and conditions which are being used.

You can also select which Product groups and Sypply type you want to receive.

If you had a link to weekly prices from plant growers in FX, select the House plants and/or Garden plants product groups in combination with the offer type Catalog Prices.

If you had a link to cut flowers in FX, select the Cut Flowers product group in combination with the offer type Batch Prices.

You can then indicate whether you want to receive only customer-specific supply (supply created specifically for you as a buyer), generic supply, or both.

After making this selection, you can also indicate within this supply whether you want to see only selected assortment (items marked as favorites, identified by a star) or all supply in the selected segments. By clicking the link for the selected assortment, you can see which items are selected as a favorite trade item.

Do you want to include or exclude certain suppliers? Or do you want certain product groups to be displayed or hidden? Indicate this using the fields below:

Once all settings have been configured, click the Save button at the bottom to complete the connection.

The connection will now appear in the list of VMP connections. By clicking on the line, you can reopen the connection and edit it if necessary.

You can Edit the connection, Request a new password or Delete the connection entirely using the three dots at the end of the line:

Choose Duplicate if you simply want to set up a similar VMP connection with a different name or minor adjustments. This will reduce the amount of work needed to set everything up again.
