In Floriday's Explorer you can easily search through the current and longer-term range of growers. You can choose to manage your range first - indicating which products are of interest to you, to find them easily - or to place an order directly! On this page, we will go into more detail about the 'purchasing' section.

How does it work?

From the dashboard shortcut in Floriday or from the menu on the left, you can go directly to the Explorer. Right at the top is the search function where you can make various choices. Here you can choose 'Purchase' and then choose whether you want to have the order delivered or if you want to pick it up and for when.

Searching by house and garden plants, cut flowers or hardware will display an overview of all items offered by growers on Floriday. Using filter options such as VBN product name, pot size and price, among others, you can set your search so that you quickly get to the right result.

Choose between explore, purchase and manage assortment. You then have the choice whether you want to pick up the order or get it delivered, at which delivery location and for when.

In the filter menu on the left, choose between house and garden plants, cut flowers or hardware.

If you have marked items as favourites in the past, you can also click on the star icon. When you then start searching, only your selected items will be searched. You can also search the unselected items. To do so, click on the arrow next to the star icon and make your selection.

You can select a grower directly here, but for the total overview, leave it on 'all growers'. Then add one or more filters if you know specifically what you are looking for. For example, has your end customer asked for a green houseplant with a pot size of 15 cm? Then you could fill in the pot size.

Of course, it is also possible to search without filters to see all available offers. If you are satisfied with your search, click on the purple magnifying glass.

You will now see all the offers that match the filters you have set. You can adjust the sorting yourself by clicking on the drop-down menu at the top left. For example, you can sort on the basis of article code, grower name, pot size or price. The image below shows an example of this. Besides the drop-down menu, you can also view the range in tile or list view.

If you want to view the grower's delivery conditions, such as the minimum order size or any transport or delivery costs, hover your mouse over the grower.

If the Packing configuration is gray, this means that there is only one packing configuration available. If the box is white, there are 2 or more packing configurations to choose from.

You can easily recognise an offer by its indication. When you hover your mouse over it, you will see more information and clicking on it will take you to the offer.

When using the other feature of the Explorer - Manage your assortment - you can create a selection of products. This is also an option while purchasing directly; simply check the box next to a product and click 'Add to selected assortment'.

To view your selected assortment while purchasing directly, simply click on the star button in the top left corner.

If there's a product or grower you wish to see more supply of, simply click the right mouse button on a supply line and select 'Set filter for this...' This allows you to filter on similar supply lines by grower, VBN product or VBN product group.

Example: You've searched for pink Hydrangea's and found a grower that has exactly what you're looking for. By clicking the right mouse button on the supply line and choosing 'Set filter for this... grower', a new page will open with all the active supply lines this grower is currently offering.

When you're ready to place your order, simply enter the amount of packages and press the shopping cart button (or hit enter!). The order will have been placed directly with the grower.

If you wish to add more information to the order, such as a customer reference, an end customer reference, a delivery remark or additional services, click on the downward arrow next to the shopping cart. This opens a menu where you can add additional information.

Once you've placed the order, Floriday gives you 5 minutes to think about it. An overview of recent orders will appear at the top of the screen.

The exclamation mark tells you immediately that you have not yet met the minimum order size.

When you click on it, you are taken to the order overview. The overview shows the remaining time you have to cancel the order.

You can cancel by simply clicking on the minus sign. From this screen, you can also go directly to your purchase orders, where the orders are listed in one overview.

This screen also shows when the minimum order size has not yet been reached.

Visit the Purchase orders for an overview of all the orders you've placed, including cancelled orders. Use the three dots on the right hand side to request a correction, or use the search filters to view purchase orders with specific growers or trade instruments.
