In Floriday's Explorer you can easily search through the current and longer-term range of growers. You can choose to manage your range first - indicating which products are of interest to you, to find them easily - or to place an order directly! On this page, we will go into more detail about the Purchasing section.

How does it work?

From the dashboard shortcut in Floriday or from the menu on the left, you can go directly to the Explorer. Right at the top is the search function where you can make various choices. Here you can choose 'Purchase' and then choose whether you want to have the order delivered or if you want to pick it up and for when.

Searching by house-, garden plants, cut flowers and/or hardware will display an overview of all items offered by growers on Floriday. Using filter options such as VBN product name, pot size and price, among others, you can set your search so that you quickly get to the right result.

Choose between explore, purchase and manage assortment. You then have the choice whether you want to pick up the order or get it delivered, at which delivery location and for when.

In the filter menu on the left, choose for house-, garden plants, cut flowers and/or hardware.

If you have marked items as favorites in the past, you can find these items under Selected in the filters under Assortment. When you next search, the search is limited to your favorite items. You can also search for non-selected items. To do so, click on Not selected under Assortment.

Using the filters on the left, you can add 1 or more filters if you know specifically what you are looking for. For example, did your end customer ask for a phalaenopsis with a pot size of 12 cm? Then you could enter the pot size as a filter under Characteristics. After filling in the desired filters, click Enter to display your selection.

Please note!

At Purchasing, the filter for Suppliers is automatically set to Suppliers in network. If you do want to view all the supply, set the filter for Suppliers to All.

Of course, it is also possible to search without filters, so you can see all available offers. If you have filters enabled, click Clear Filters at the top.

You will now see all the offers that match the filters you have set. You can adjust the sorting yourself by clicking on the drop-down menu at the top left. For example, you can sort on the basis of article code, grower name, pot size or price. The image below shows an example of this.

You also have the option of viewing the supply in tile or list view. In tile view, items are displayed side by side with larger photos. In list view, the items are shown below each other.

In either case, you can purchase the item by clicking the shopping cart button

If you want to view the grower's delivery conditions, such as the minimum order size or any transport or delivery costs, hover your mouse over the grower.

If the Packing configuration is gray, this means that there is only one packing configuration available. If the box is white, there are 2 or more packing configurations to choose from.

You can easily recognise an offer by its indication. When you hover your mouse over it, you will see more information and clicking on it will take you to the offer.

To place the order, enter the number of packages in the list view and then click on the shopping cart icon. You can also use the shortcut by pressing Enter only once. Then the order is also placed immediately.

If you have the screen set to tile view, click on the shopping cart. You can then enter the desired number of packages.

Want to add more information such as an order reference, end customer reference, delivery remark or select additional services? In the tile view, click on the shopping cart and in the list view, click on the arrow next to the cart. The screen opens and you can add additional information. Here you also have the option of changing the delivery location and time.

Once you've placed the order, Floriday gives you 5 minutes to think about it. An overview of recent orders will appear at the top of the screen.

The exclamation mark tells you immediately that you have not yet met the minimum order size.

When you click on it, you are taken to the order overview. The overview shows the remaining time you have to cancel the order.

You can cancel by simply clicking on the minus sign. From this screen, you can also go directly to your purchase orders, where the orders are listed in one overview.

This screen also shows when the minimum order size has not yet been reached. You can click through to purchase orders or order progress from here.

From here, you can click through to purchase orders or order progress.

If the order has been placed and you meet the grower's delivery requirements, you will see this reflected in the Explorer by the green check mark on the recent order.

Through the menu on the left Purchases > Purchase orders you can always find all the orders you have placed. Cancelled orders can also be found here. You can easily filter on, for example, supplier, and from this screen you can also proceed to the order progress or, for example, make corrections or cancellations via the three dots at the back of an order.


When using the other feature of the Explorer - Manage your assortment - you can create a selection of products. This is also an option while purchasing directly; simply check the box next to a product and click 'Add to selected assortment'.

You can always easily grab your selected items by choosing Selected from the Assortment filters.
